Zomato Bans Analogue Dishes From Its Platform

Zomato has put a ban on analogue dishes from its quick commerce platform with immediate effect. The food delivery platform, in a press release as informed by The Times Of India, has informed the restaurant partners that analogue dairy dishes have been delisted from the portal. The food ordering and delivery platform says that it follows a zero-tolerance policy on selling analogue dishes and reserves “right to remove any listing found in violation”.
“The move is a consumer first step, driven by Zomato’s own commitment to transparency and food quality”, TOI quoted Zomato as saying.
“At Zomato, our core mission is better food for more people, and that means safeguarding customer health and upholding clear standards for what’s listed and served by our restaurant partners. This policy reflects that commitment, one we’re taking together with partners who share it,” said Aditya Mangla, CEO, Zomato.

Zomato Demands Immediate Action By Restaurant Partners

Zomato also has ensure that its restaurant partners who are non-compliant will be delisted from the platform. As the company has claimed that it is focusing on healthier food choices and ingredient transparency for its customers.
