Digital healthcare platform Practo has announced the appointment of Srijesh Kumar as its new Global Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), signalling a strong push towards AI-driven transformation and scalable healthcare solutions.
With over two decades of experience in technology leadership, Kumar brings deep expertise in product innovation, enterprise systems, and digital transformation. Prior to joining Practo, he advised multiple startups during their AI evolution journeys, helping them integrate advanced technologies into core business operations.
Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles at global organisations such as Salesforce, Expedia Group, Microsoft, Adobe, and Punchh. His diverse experience spans cloud platforms, customer engagement technologies, and large-scale digital ecosystems.
Speaking on his appointment, Kumar emphasised the significance of this moment in healthcare innovation. He noted that the sector is currently at a critical inflection point, where technology—particularly artificial intelligence—is reshaping systems, improving speed, and delivering better outcomes at scale. He also highlighted the opportunity to build globally impactful solutions from India as a key motivation.

Academically, Kumar holds a degree in Computer Science from University of Delhi and a PGDM in IT and Finance from Amity University.
