Mahindra Manulife Insurance Chairs Kiran Belsekar as Head – Technology Governance

Mahindra Manulife Insurance has named Kiran Belsekar as its Head – Technology Governance, in a move to strengthen its technology governance framework, IT controls and digital transformation initiatives.
With over 20 years of experience in IT management, strategy, and delivery across various domains, such as Insurance,Retail, Banking, Capital Markets, and Media, Kiran has a proven track record of driving digital transformation, innovation, and risk mitigation for complex and diverse IT systems and infrastructure.
Kiran brings extensive experience in technology transformation, enterprise IT and cybersecurity. He has successfully led the implementation and training of SAP across various formats of Future Group, while also establishing the IT infrastructure, setup and architecture for IndiaFirst Life. During his tenure with ENAM and Sony Entertainment, he managed key technology functions spanning DevOps, cloud infrastructure, data security, data governance and privacy. His contributions to the technology and cybersecurity ecosystem have earned him multiple industry recognitions from prestigious institutions and publications, including IDG, Core Media, Indian Express, Economic Times, DSCI, CSO Forum, ISACA and IT NEXT, among others. He is also associated with leading technology communities such as CIO Klub, CIOs of India, CyberFrat and CyberGurukul.
